TITLE FIGHTS, SPECIAL GUESTS HEADLINE STFC 16: ALL OR NOTHING
MCALLEN – There is only one show where you can see three action packed main events, two MMA superstars and a Playboy playmate and that event is STFC 16: All or Nothing.
STFC 16: All or Nothing takes place Friday, August 12th at the McAllen Convention Center with two exciting title fights and a grudge match, along with five other fights on the undercard. In addition to the fight card, three special guests will be in attendance as MMA superstars Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva and Fabricio Werdum along with former Playboy playmate DJ Diamond will make a guest appearance.
Javi De Leon, STFC promoter and owner, said that he and his partner Raul Ramos wanted to put together a show that could top the last one.
“When I met with Raul, we talked about ways of putting on a show that was better than the last one,” said De Leon. “At STFC 15, we brought down Cain Velasquez and had an excellent turnout and a great show.”
“So, we looked around and were able to secure two MMA superstars and a playmate for this one. To top the show off, we booked three main event fights and an excellent undercard too. We feel the fans will definitely get their monies worth at STFC 16.”
The main event will feature Danny Salinas and Ivan Perez Rubalcava as they battle it out for the vacant STFC Lightweight title. The Lightweight title became vacant when Adam Schindler signed with Bellator Fighting Championships, thus having to relinquish his title. Another featured fight will be Dee Jay Fuentes as he defends his STFC title against Randy Villarreal in the co-main event as they plan to settle their personal issues.
To complete the trifecta, Frank Trevino will face Andrew Garza in a highly anticipated match which should settle the “Jesus Didn’t Tap” T-Shirt debacle which stirred up quite a bit of controversy.
“All three of these fights are going to be very exciting fights,” said De Leon. “The Ivan and Danny fight is going to be a tough one and whoever wins the title definitely deserves it. Dee Jay and Randy should be a good one also as they plan to settle their issues in the cage. And last but not least, the Frank and Andrew fight is going to be a war as there is no love lost between both of them.”
“I feel all eight fights will be very exciting and adding the three special guests will make it a great night. STFC strives on putting together great shows and this is definitely going to be one for the ages.”
